We are a new interdisciplinary laboratory with an excellent research and work environment, welcoming highly motivated individuals to join our team. Our primary research explores biochemical and biophysical processes through a range of advanced experimental techniques. We apply cutting-edge microscopy to investigate bacterial energetics, chemotaxis, and motility. By integrating physical modeling and simulation, we push the boundaries of discovery, venturing into areas previously unexplored.

1. 負責週五定期Seminar的會議便當(茶點)訂購。
2. 協助接待國外來訪學者，並處理線上訂房事宜。
3. 支援高能理論組秘書辦理不定期召開之國際研討會。
4. 協助陪同高能理論組外籍同仁辦理報到或離職手續，並提供日常生活事宜的中英文溝通服務。
5. 維護高能理論組官網。
6. 執行其他交辦事項。

本實驗室的領域是個新領域 – 力學細胞學(mechanobiology)。致力於了解細胞如何探測物理訊息或者利用物理機制來調控細胞的行為，研究題目非常跨領域。探討的題目例如維度如何影響細胞的行為，還有細胞的集體行為，在與細生所陳振輝合作，我們在斑馬魚傷口癒合的過程中，發現機械波的傳遞。實驗室常用的實驗技巧有微製程、細胞培養、活體細胞觀察、影像處理，接下來想繼續發展技術如擴展顯微術、光紙顯微術（與應科中心陳壁彰老師合作）、AI-based 影像處理，研究題目可以根據申請者的背景、興趣與實驗室所需來安排。

使用靜電紡織技術與3D列印技術建立細胞骨架並進行表徵分析。
使用顯微鏡進行細胞培養與成像。
實驗過程和成果的紀錄與報告。
協助實驗室一般庶務，如配製實驗相關試劑和其他常用試劑與緩衝液、實驗室安全維護、實驗室管理事務等。

Performing scaffolds fabrication using Electrospinning & 3D printing techniques and characterizations
Performing cell culture and imaging using microscopes
Documenting and reporting of lab experiments and results
Support lab operations by preparing reagents related to experiments, other common reagents and buffers, lab safety and other lab and administrative duties

全球氣候變遷造成的氣候暖化已成為人類發展之一迫切問題，因此國際社會訂定了到2050年實現碳零排放的共同目標。為此，中央研究院啟動了Alpha去碳燃氫計畫開發綠能。重點是發展各種方法如熱催化、電漿裂解等技術將天然氣裂解為碳黑和氫氣，做為工業原料或氫氣發電的目標。目前我們已有初步的研究結果，隨著研發技術的成熟，將朝新創產業發展，使這項技術達成商業化運作。我們正在網羅相關領域的博士、碩士和學士級人才加入。

We are looking for research assistants who would like to be involved in research projects in biophysics or quantitative biology. Opportunities span experimental, computational, and theoretical projects. Although research topics are flexible, potential areas of exploration include live-cell imaging of individual and collective cellular behaviors, information-theoretic analyses of cell signaling, image and time-series analyses using advanced statistical techniques including machine learning, and the development of pioneering measurement tools in microscopy and microfluidics. The Kamino lab was launched in 2022. We are a diverse and international team. We value collaboration between people from different backgrounds.
