We are a new interdisciplinary laboratory with an excellent research and work environment, welcoming highly motivated individuals to join our team. Our primary research explores biochemical and biophysical processes through a range of advanced experimental techniques. We apply cutting-edge microscopy to investigate bacterial energetics, chemotaxis, and motility. By integrating physical modeling and simulation, we push the boundaries of discovery, venturing into areas previously unexplored.

We welcome PhD students to join our group to conduct research in the field of quantum matter theory. We investigate various quantum matter and quantum phenomena in various nanoscale systems, including topological phases of matter, strongly correlated matter, and spin-related phenomena.

The position is to conduct research focused on the investigation of electronic properties and quantum phenomena of topological semimetals and topological superconductors by using low temperature scanning tunneling microscope (STM) under high magnetic field. The ideal candidate is able to operate, maintain and improve our STM and other UHV equipment, perform measurements, analyze the data and write manuscripts. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with our international collaborators in the area of crystal synthesis, DFT calculation and material characterizations.

• Develop and apply theoretical models to understand band topology of electronic structures in solids.
