使用者安全與儀器保全 User and instrumentation safety

• 確實填寫紀錄本，未確實填寫者停權兩周。儀器若有任何問題，請立即向管理員反映。
  Fill out the logbook accurately; failure to do so can lead to the penality of two-week account suspension. Inform administrators immediately of any apparatus issues.

【使用者資格與教育訓練 User qualification and training】

• 合格使用者須通過管理員認可的教育訓練，包括現場教學與實習。教育訓練會定期實施或依需求辦理。只有合格使用者才能進入實驗室並預約使用儀器。
  Qualified users must pass the training certified by the administrators. The training includes on-site tutorial and practice sessions and will be offered regularly or on demand. Only qualified users can gain access to the lab and reserve the instrument.


• 生物安全櫃(BSC)常規使用者必須通過細胞培養認證考試，內容如下：
  Regular users of biosafety cabinets (BSC) must pass the following cell culture certification test:
  
  
  1. 使用50 ml離心管裝入45 ml不含抗生素之細胞培養液後存放於4℃冰箱內供稍後使用。
     Prepare 45 ml of culture medium without antibiotics in a 50 ml centrifuge tube. Store the medium in the 4°C refrigerator for use later on.
  
  
  2. 將4 ml培養液移至6 cm培養皿，於培養箱中培養過夜，測試培養液有無汙染。
     Transfer 4 ml of culture medium to a 6-cm Petri dish. Leave the dish in an incubator overnight and then test whether the medium is contaminated.
  
  
  3. 攜帶要培養之細胞進入實驗室進行細胞培養考試。請務必先確認細胞沒有任何汙染，包括黴漿菌。
     Bring the cells to the lab for the cell culture test. Make sure that the cells are free of contamination, including mycoplasma.
  
  
  4. 考試時，管理員會在旁觀看。結束細胞培養步驟後，請將細胞放入培養箱內培養。
     The test will be monitored by the lab administrator. After finishing the cell culture procedure, leave the cells in the incubator for culture.
  
  
  5. 徹底清潔生物安全櫃。將所有垃圾丟入生物安全櫃下方的生物危害性垃圾桶。
     Clean the BSC properly and thoroughly. Dispose of all waste in the biohazard waste bin below the BSC.
  
  
  6. 繼代兩次後(大約兩天)，若細胞無任何汙染，受測者考試通過成為常規使用者，可申請預約系統帳號並預約生物安全櫃使用時間。但若發生細胞汙染，則需重新訓練及考試。
     A user passes the test and becomes a regular user if the cultured cells are free of contamination after two passages of subculturing (approximately two days). A regular user can apply for an account in the reservation system and reserve BSCs. However, if cell contamination occurs, retraining and retesting are required.
  
  
• 未通過認證考試者，操作實驗時務必請合格操作者在旁觀看指導。
  Users who have not passed cell culture certification test can practice only under the supervision of a qualified operator.
