我們將介紹今年諾貝爾物理獎得主之一帕里西對自旋玻璃問題的貢獻與其開創的副本對稱破缺解法，並簡介這個抽象技巧在許多跨領域多尺度複雜系統裡的實際應用。
This introductory talk will describe the basic ideas of Parisi's contribution on spin glass based on his groundbreaking scheme of replica symmetry breaking. We will also touch on the implication of this abstract technique in a wide range of disciplines of complex systems across different scales.
