Guidelines for Using the Wired Network in IOP

1.	If you network is in the HINET network segment, you will be unable to access online journals, software, public print and administrative resources. Network traffic will be limited also.
2.	To apply to the IOP network segment, please
	Click on the following link to apply the IP of IOP LAN: https://apply.phys.sinica.edu.tw/index_hinet.php Once your application is approved, we will sent you a mail, please restart your network and you will be able to access IOP network segment. After connecting to the IOP network segment, please follow the instructions in the letter to install Xensor and VANS (for Windows). If these applications are not installed, your wired network service will be disabled.
4.	If the laboratory has NAS, Server, WIFI AP, and networked devices need to be on the same laboratory network segment. Please record the hostname, MAC addresses and contact us.
