Dear students,

We would like to announce to you the 2011 TIGP-Nano Program Student Poster Session is going to be held on April 29 , 2011. This session is organized jointly with the quarterly conference of Academia Sinica Research Program on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. (the conference agenda will be posted soon)

You are welcome to participate in this stimulating event.


Date: Friday, April 29, 2011

Time: 16:00 - 21:00 (dinner offered)

Place: The Auditorium, 1F, Institute of Physics, AS

Participants: all TIGP-Nano students are welcomed, and the students who are 3rd year or higher are required to submit a poster


Poster Awards: international conferenced travel grant* offered by " Academia Sinica Research Program on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology"

1st prize: travel grant up to NTD80,000
2nd prize: travel grant up to NTD60,000
3rd prize: travel grant up to NTD40,000

Selection Methods:

  • First stage:
    During the poster presentation period (16:00-17:00), 10 best posters will be selected by judges.
  • Second stage:
    The presenters of the ten selected posters, each will give a 3-minute presentation plus 1-minute Q&A. The top three winners will be selected by all program faculty members. The winners will be announced at the end of this quarterly conference.

2. used for attending international conference with oral or poster presentation
3. used within one year



  1. poster: all poster should be submitted as " .pdf " (also see the poster guideline)
  2. briefing: All brief should be submitted as " .ppt " (MS-PowerPoint document) file, and less than 5 slides
  3. when submission, indicate the research category that your poster is related:
    ¡¼ Nano-Physics
    ¡¼ Nano-Chemistry
    ¡¼ Nano-Materials
    ¡¼ Nano-Bio
    ¡¼ Nano-others

Deadline of Files Submission:

All files are required to submit to the program office (Flora) via email: before March 31, 2011.
