Yu-Chieh Wen is an associate research fellow in Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He received the B.S. degrees from Mechanical Engineering, National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan, in 2004. He earned the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Photonics and Optoelectronics, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in Nov. 2010 (Supervisor: Prof. Chi-Kuang Sun). From Nov. 2010 to Mar. 2012, he was a postdoc researcher at Institute of Physics, Academic Sinica in Taiwan (Supervisor: Dr. Maw-Kuen Wu). From Mar. 2012 to Oct. 2016, he was a postdoc research fellow in Department of Physics, University of California, Berkeley, and Department of Physics, Fudan University, China (Supervisor: Prof. Yuen-Ron Shen). He joined Institute of Physics, Academic Sinica as an assistant research fellow in Nov. 2016, and was then promoted as the associate research fellow in Mar. 2025. His research interests include quantum material physics, surface physical chemistry, nonlinear optics, and laser spectrocopy.
