Title
New Physics Search at the Forward Physics Facility of LHC
Speaker
Mr. Ouseph C. J. (National Tsing Hua University)Abstract
The High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (LHC) produces a large number of particles along the beam collision axis in high-energy collisions, which fall outside of the acceptance of current LHC experiments. The proposed Forward Physics Facility (FPF) will be located several hundred meters from the ATLAS interaction point, shielded by concrete and rock, and will house a range of experiments to investigate Standard Model (SM) processes and explore physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM). In this talk, I will focus on the new physics searches at the FPF. I will introduce the FASER, FASER, and FPF experiments, which are specifically designed to detect particles generated in LHC collisions at tiny angles. My discussion will center on the BSM searches at the FPF, including the search for Z [1] and Non-Standard Interactions (NSI), Heavy Neutrino [2], Dark Photon [3] and LeptoQuark [4].
