Title
The Physics of Fuzzy Dark Matter
Speaker
胡德邦教授 (國立台灣大學物理學系) Prof. Tak Pong Woo (Department of Physics, National Taiwan University)Abstract
In this talk, I’m going to introduce the physics and my current work on the topic of fuzzy dark matter (FDM). My work is to study (numerically) the dynamical friction caused by FDM halo. What will happen when a star cluster, single massive object (for example, black hole) or a small halo (i.e. a soliton made of FDM) orbiting around a big FDM halo? Meanwhile, I’ll try to give some comparisons of the results between cold dark matter (CDM) and FDM.
