The debate on future energy (energy 5.0) involves all social sectors, addressing crucial issues like decarbonization, energy independence, and security. Antonio Ereditato offers a scientific perspective on renewable sources and nuclear power. The goal is to develop forward-looking planning beyond current circumstances. Energy independence will be crucial for citizens' well-being, while sustainable energy distribution can reduce global disparities between north and south. This analysis is worth to provide a clear, credible approach to this critical global challenge.
About the Speaker:
Prof. Ereditato is a senior experimental particle physicist, whose body of work has spanned over many disciplines with international collaborating partners and based on facilities across the globe. This outreach colloquium talk will follow his recent book discussing the perspectives on the strategies of future energy solutions.
