About this Job
In collaboration with National Central University, National Chung Hsing University, and National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center, the institute of Physics, Academia Sinica (IoPAS) seeks postdoctoral candidates with research interests in the experimental implications of detecting axion-like dark matter in the mass range of 10 to 100 ueV with a high-quality cavity and a quantum-limited amplification chain in a cryogenic system. Successful applicants will help to develop various experimental techniques required for the axion detection project, including tunable high-quality cavities with novel designs, quantum-limited Josephson parametric amplifiers, a cryogenic system with high magnetic field, and data analysis. The IoPAS postdoctoral scholars will have access to all member institutions, providing a wide range of state-of-the-art tools to support the development of the technologies.
