Job Details

Lab Name
Keng-hui Lin, Institute of Physics
Job Applied For
Postdoc
Qualifications
PhDs in related fields such as mechanobiology, biophysics, cell biology, quantitative microscopy, biomaterials are considered first. Candidates whose training is not in related field must demonstrate their solid academic training, hardworking, open-mindedness and fast learning.
Job Description
We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to work on the effect of substrate curvature on cellular behaviors. Our lab pioneered techniques to create spherical microwells at the length scale comparable to cell length and found unique cellular behaviors in 3D confines, for example, fibroblast cells exhibiting cell cycle arrest in spherical microwells. We want to further investigate how substrate curvature affect cellular behaviors such as mesenchymal stem cell differentiation fate, curvotaxis of cells and so on. Candidates who curios to understand how cells sense and respond to dimensionality and are ambitious to carry out high quality research are encouraged to apply.

Working Place
Academia Sinica
Working hours
Flexible. Depending on what experiments demand.
Compensation (Requirements)
Negotiable
