International collaboration reveals hourglass fermions band structure in topological semimetal Nb3SiTe6
An international research team, including Dr. Ro-Ya Liu (National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center), Dr. Raman Sankar (Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, IOPAS), Dr. Tien-Ming Chuang (IOPAS), Dr. Chia-Seng Chang (IOPAS), Prof. Horng-Tay Jeng (Tsing-Hua University) and Academician Tai-Chang Chiang (University of Illinois at Urbana−Champaign), investigates the distinct spectroscopic features of hourglass fermions in topological semimetal Nb3SiTe6 by using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, scanning tunneling microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and other techniques. The results have been published in Nano Letters and features on its cover of the January 11th 2023 issue.
