Introduction:

The students should learn how to utilize the following tools and concepts to understand and to analyze their related research problems. Quantitative analyses and to estimate orders of magnitude in practical examples will be emphasized.

3. Steady-state approximation 
4. Boltzmann distribution 
5. Molecular partition functions 
6. Transition state theory 
7. Molecular Collisions (Hard sphere model, ...)
