Course information :

The class offers an overview of the most up-to-date optical microscopy and spectroscopy techniques in nanoscale. Three main topics will be covered in the lectures; 1. Super-resolution for bioimaging 2. Plasmonics and near field optics. 3. Optical tracking and dynamics.

Students will learn the latest development in optical imaging and spectroscopy for their future research in nanomaterial and biology.

Scoring:

One written midterm
One final presentation and report.
