The Fifth Joint Meeting of Chinese Physicists Worldwide “OCPA5” , titled “International Conference on Physics Education and Frontier Research” , will be held at the GIS International Convention Center , Taipei City , Taiwan on June 27-30, 2006 . Hosted by the Institute of Physics , Academia Sinica , Taiwan and with funding support by the National Science Council, Taiwan, the event will follow the traditions of past OCPA meetings: Shantou (1995), Taipei (1997), Hong Kong (2000) and Shanghai (2004). It will serve as a platform of inter-disciplinary scientific exchange among Chinese physicists and educators worldwide. There will be plenary and parallel sessions covering all physics sub-fields of current interest, as well as an educational forum and panel discussions on selected topics.  

Online registration, abstract submissions and accommodation arrangement will be available by January 21, 2006.
