Question: Who can use the Nano Core facilities?

Answer: Everyone working on nano related advanced research project can apply for it. The applicant needs to describe the detail research needs in the application form. The case will be passed if the research can meet the scientific merits. The PI (principle investigator) needs to sign the agreement form before the application case can be passed.

Question: What facilities are available?

Answer: There are two kinds of facilities available, the core facilities (open to public, while the scientific merits need to be considered); and the shared facilities (open to Academia Sinica users and collaborators).

Question: If I am interested in a facility, how to apply for it?

Answer: Please use the online application system. For some shared facilities, which are not operated through this system, you can directly contact the facility manager.

Question: How to make a reservation for facility use?

Answer: Once your application case is passed, you will be granted a user account. You can then use the account to make a reservation online.
