Experimentally uncharted WIMPs

Abstract

WIMP is known to be one of influential candidates, and now being intensively searched for at collider experiments (LHC) as well as direct dark matter detection experiments. Though some types of the WIMP are excluded due to the experiments, there are yet several experimentally uncharted WIMPs which are also well-motivated by new physics models behind the electroweak symmetry breaking. In this talk, I will summarize the present status of the WIMP paradigm from a generic view point and figure out what kind of studies are requested to us (theorists) to search for such WIIMPs.
