Title
What quantum point contacts can do to advance spintronics
Speaker
陳則銘 副教授 (國立成功大學物理學系) Associate Prof. Tse-Ming Chen (Department of Physics, National Cheng Kung University)Abstract
Spintronics has long been identified as a very promising and viable route for post-CMOS devices. However, there are still many challenges and questions that need to be resolved before it can be realised. In this talk I will focus on two of the long-standing problems -- how to successfully develop a spin transistor and how to spatially separate the coherent electron spins -- in spin-related science and present our designs to overcome these obstacles.
